You are in for a treat fellow sewers, meet Lisa McCready. I am truly at a loss to guess what Lisa loves best. Sewing, tapestry, knitting, restoring vintage clothing and chairs or gardening? She is also an avid collector of many beautiful objects too. But let's concentrate on our fav subject, sewing.
Lisa has collected many treasures on her travels which are dotted about her ME space aka sewing room. Lisa has shared some of these with us and allowed us a glimpse into what she enjoys, inspires her and what matters to her. As you will see on her video Lisa has a few projects on the go at any one time. I asked her how she managed to fit everything into her day and she said her hands are always busy.
Admittedly some of Lisa's stash, which include notions, haberdashery and fabrics, extend beyond her sewing room but everything has an order that makes for easy access when needed. And she's so tidy!!!!!! Nothing is thrown away, everything will have a purpose....one day! While casting an eye over some of Lisa's finds it's hard not to be slightly envious of just how much stash she has. Anyhoo, the video is a treat ladies and speaks for itself.
Thank you Lisa for allowing us into your sewing room and sharing your treasures and ideas with us. My takeaway from my visit with Lisa has got to be this ladies, "I don't do nearly as much as I should be doing!!!" Just joking, my takeaway is "You don't just have to stash fabric! I'm looking for a chair, I want one."
So grab a cup of tea, sit back and enjoy this lovely video of Lisa's Sewing Room, it's an experience you don't want to miss.
